Linear Scheduling Method (LSM)
Also called Time-Location Diagram is the most effective type way to plan and manage projects that have repetitive activities, physical interruptions and that are linear. In this type of diagram the space is identified in the horizontal axis and the time in the vertical axis.

Highways, metros, trains, bridges, river dredging, hydraulic projects, electric transmission lines, pipelines, gas pipelines, cable cars, aqueducts and buildings are the perfect projects to be managed with the Linear Scheduling Method.

This type of schedule can be done in Excel or AutoCAD (the problem, when we use these type of apps, is presented when you need to update or compare the planned versus the project executed). The best softwares to manage linear projects are: Tilos, Turbo-Chart, LinearPlus, Planer ET, Vico Office, etc1.
